1. How to Structure Comparison Paragraph (Overall Picture):

• Compare your analysis of sample paragraphs
• How is "Point-by-Point" organization different from "Subject-by-Subject" comparison (refer to WH)?
• When would you use "Point-by-Point" vs. "Subject-by-Subject" comparison? Which one would you prefer?
• French vs. American Style Debate

2. How to Structure "Point-by-Point" Paragraph (Detailed Look): Group Work

• Focus on similarities
• Focus on differences
• Equal focus on both similarities and differences  

Optional: Read Olympics vs. World Cup sample paragraphs and discuss strengths/weaknesses of each paragraph. Read my comments as a reference.
