4.2 Visual Aid for oral presentations (Content)

Goals: you will be able to
  • Analyze and evaluate slide content for how much content is necessary
  • Develop strategies to minimize slide content, but maximize information for the audience
  • Create slide headings that are brief but effective in communicating the overall takeaway point of the slide
  • Create and practice the use/role of note cards in presenting

Watch the following example good vs. bad presentations and discuss characteristics of each example in terms of the content, visual aid, and delivery (using Focus Chart )
