Unit 1 Remaining Questions

Highlights from Unit 1 Evaluation Result:

1. Areas where many students want more practice in: 

• APA citation style - you'll do this throughout this semester for all assignments as well as in 112 (there will be a test in this course).
• Appropriate use of vocabulary and transitional phrases - we'll have a "Word Choice Workshop" Day (like we did with Grammar Workshop Day)

 2. Other suggested topics for the future semesters:

• Topics about American society
• Current events (popular stories) from newspaper

3. Other suggestions noted:

• Difficulty with Writer's Help Gradebook functions
• More group work, mixing groups, finishing class on time, more interesting activities, speaking slowly
